According to the news, Pres. Duterte will speak today at 3 pm.
I have many things to do today and to stop and watch tv at 3 pm will be a waste of my precious time if he will only talk about Trillanes, curse the erring priests, mutilate his enemies with sharp words. If he is going to discuss to the whole nation how he intends to solve the looming economic crisis in our country, then I will stop everything that I am doing and listen to his speech.
I want to know what concrete plans he has to pluck us out of this skyrocketing inflation, dropping pesos, rising criminality, and booming illegal drugs trade. I want to know what he is doing to stop foreign criminals from setting up their paradise in the Philippines. I want to know what he is doing about China’s continuous invasion of our land. I want to know the extremely urgent plans of his economic managers for the next 30 days and 60 days to avert the high inflation and dropping of market activity in our country. What is he doing to prevent thousands or millions of Filipinos from losing their jobs if this economic downturn continues? What is his 10 point urgent agenda to pump prime our endangered economy? What is his 5 topmost priority moves to entice more foreign investments to flow into the country. What are the urgent measures he has studied and planned to stop lawlessness, criminality, guns for hire, prisoners for hire, big time shabu productions and super big time importations of drugs into the country?
Tell us how we will benefit from TRAIN 2. Tell us its advantages and disadvantages. I want to hear assurance that TRAIN 2 will make lives better for all of us.
I don’t want to hear him blaming other countries for our miseries. We cannot control other nation’s programs and policies. There will always be threats from the outside world. That’s why it’s up to us to strengthen our own economic foundations so we are not susceptible to contagions.
Our present problems are internally generated and self-inflicted. The complexity needs serious and urgent actions from highly knowledgeable and extremely competent people in government.
What are Pres. Duterte’s plans of action? We want to know. The Filipinos deserve to know.
You are right, OMB. It was an utter waste of time — truly disappointing!
Hi Andi, I didn’t watch his tete a tete with Atty. Panelo. I only saw a few seconds clip from the evening news and there was nothing substantive about what he is doing to solve our country’s more serious problems.
Sad sad sad.
Annie, you’re right….listening to him talk would be a waste of your precious time. Baka tumaas pa ang blood pressure mo kahit wala kang hypertension…..
Hi Jing,
I didn’t watch his Boy Abunda-style conversation with Atty. Panelo.
I only saw a few seconds clip in the evening news and they showed Pres. Duterte nanggigigil kay Trillanes, pati daw parents ni Trillanes corrupt, gumagawa ng pera. I don’t personally know Sen. Trillanes.
I am more interested to hear what Pres. Duterte’s concrete plans are to manage our country well to progress.
I dont listen to him because he is not worth listening to…
Hi Anne,
Thank you for your comment. The first time I listened to his speech in person was in Beijing. I was surprised at the things he said in front of the Filipino community and during two meetings with the foreign audiences. It was a bad surprise.
Yung farm namin di na namin mapakinabangan kasi pinasok na ng npa. Daming nagugutom sa bukid kaya sumapi na lang sa npa kasi libre kain courtesy of some corrupt politicians who are coddling them para di galawin negosyo nila. Saklap.
Oh Sophia that’s sad to know. It’s not the first time that I’ve heard of people who’ve lost their inherited land. Really sad.
