Sinipag ang husband kong magdrive nung Sunday. Drive lang ng drive till we reached Tanay. It was past lunch time and we didn’t know where to eat because we’re both not familiar with the area. I didn’t want to eat in Jollibee. I was calling my nephew to ask for recommendation but he wasn’t picking up his phone.
We saw many cars in front of what looks like a restaurant along the highway. Dito na lang.
Edmund and I are both cowboys kaya pwede kami dito kumain. My only wish was dapat presko kasi it was so hot on that day.
Nope it’s not aircon. It’s mausok from the barbeque grill and mainit.
The place looks like a carinderia that grew and expanded over time.
The full parking and the number of people eating inside are obvious signs that Rambull’s will keep on expanding.
The waitress wrote down my exact words “pengeng alamang”.
I chose a table that’s empty and away from the other customers because we wanted to have a quiet meal.
When I came back, merong dumating isang barangay. Meron na kaming table-mates!
We ordered 1/4 lechon. When I interviewed the “lechon chopper”, hindi naman isang buong lechon ang meron sila, pang display lang daw yung ulo. They only roasted the ribs. The taste and texture are different if only certain parts of the pig are roasted and not the whole body. #notobabylechon
It was hot and humid on that day. Ang bilis natunaw nung yelo.
Roasted liempo, and grilled tuna belly. Edmund said the tuna was not super fresh.
Our table mates ordered towering drinks.
Because we were hungry and thirsty when we went to Rambull’s, Edmund and I were tempted to order a lot of food including these buko pandan shake. They looked so good. The scooped out the top portions which were all cream. I regretted ordering this.
