1. Rio
There was a long tiring queue at the check out counter of Rio. Kung bakit naman, tatlo lang ang nasa front desk. I could check out on line faster but there were charges on my bill that I wanted to question.
The good thing was I didn’t even have to say anything. As soon as the pretty front desk officer saw the charges, she said “this is wrong”. She reversed the daily Starbucks charges except for the $150 telephone charges. She explained why, I didn’t argue.
I wanted to take the hotel’s free airport shuttle. Pero hindi pala free. I took Uber instead, Magbabayad na rin lang ako, why would I wait for the bus, sit with a dozen people, go around the Strip to pick up other passengers. No sense.
2. PGA Tour Grill
I was a bit early for my 3 pm flight. I decided to eat at the PGA Tour Grill located at the airport near the departure gates.
When I saw the name of the restaurant, parang na miss ko tuloy si Tiger Woods.
I was torn between the chicken quesadilla and buffalo wings.
The quesadilla won.
It was good. But when I saw the guy across my table eating buffalo wings, parang nanagili ako.
Learn to drink without straws to reduce plastic wastes.
3. All the Southwest flights were a bit delayed by about 15 minutes. While waiting, I must have made 5 trips to the nearby restroom, siguro sa nerbyos.
Some passengers opted to play the slots while waiting for their respective flights.
Ubos ang pera. Or maybe the machine will make them win by a few bucks to encourage them to come back.
