This year’s Ford Convention is toned down in comparison with the previous years. There are few speeches and hip hop dances. Less jumping, gyrating and swinging heads on stage. In the past, attention was given to entertainment and for good reason. The annual event is a treat to employees. Effort is made to get celebrity hosts and performers. This year, there was less of that. There was a band called____. The emcees were radio DJs. I don’t listen to the radio so I have no idea who they are. My daughter knows their names.
After the program, Sam Pinto came out on stage, waved at the hundreds of employees who gathered in front of the stage to get a closer look at the two-time FHM’s sexiest woman.
She will be on the cover of the April 2017 issue of FHM showing her sweet sexiness.
I thought she was going to do a number at the convention, like dance or sing. She didn’t. She went to the booth, wore a headphone and pointed at the crowd.
A—-“Anak, that’s it? I can do that too, like this”.
The next morning we were recapping the past night’s events.
A—-“Madali lang palang maging DJ. I can do that too. I will wear a headphone and tatangu-tangu lang”.
E—-“Face. You need a face”.
A—-“I have a face. Wala ba ‘kong face?”
E—-“You need a body to go with the face”.
A—-“And what do you call this body? I have a body, ‘kala mo sa’kin”.
(Tingnan mo ‘to… matapos nyang lamugin ang body ko).
