I made a quick trip to the market before going home.

I’ve been patronizing this family’s tinda for the past 3 months. Am beginning to feel uneasy buying from them because they look at me differently. “Kailangan nyo ba ng alalay? Papasok na lang ako sa inyo taga buhat..” Things like that.
One of this days I might just stop buying from them.
The traffic along Ortigas Avenue was bad even on a weekend. I reached our home 6:20, ran upstairs to change and wash-up.

We were all tired and just wanted to have a quiet dinner somewhere near to avoid traffic.
We went to Gran Cafe Cassanova, an Italian restaurant beside Starbucks and UCC.
They are usually quiet EXCEPT this evening, perfect timing kami.
They only have a few tables but tonight they were mostly occupied.
Behind me was a wall with a flat tv. We requested that they switch it on. They didn’t want to. I told the lady, “we didn’t come here to watch tv. We came here to have a quiet meal”. She turned the tv off.
