Our dinner reservation last night was at 6:30 pm but we were late. We left our room at 6:45 pm and had to walk for 10 minutes under strong and freezing breeze.

The minute we entered the glass door, I knew already that I would like this restaurant. I just felt that the chefs knew what they were doing (laughs).

We were confused, we didn’t know how to go about ordering.
We called the food attendant and she recommended two starters.

We were going to order a main course but she said two starters and a seafood platter would be enough.

We reserved a table at The Seafood Restaurant as early as end of August.

Clockwise— Fennel seeds, parmesan (very good), garlic and herb, butter
092

Crispy fried tawilis with beet dip. Sosyal na si tawilis, nasa Scotland na.

For me—– Foie Gras
095

For him— Seared Tuna. Edmund made subo me a small slice. Wow, this now occupies the top rank on my list of “The Best Tuna Salad Nicoise”. Second placer is Fire Lake Grill in Tagaytay, Third Placer is Nobu, in Manhattan.

Sagana sa tahong.
E———–“Okay lang sana kung kasing-lasa nung sa CYMA”.

Iba kasi ito, steamed lang, no seasonings.

There were four pieces of delicious oysters. Edmund ate only one.
102

The oysters were delicious and I could taste the freshness. I rank this 3rd on my list of Best Fresh Oysters. First is the one in Embarcadero, SFO, second is the one in Sydney. This is 3rd.

Kulang yung lemon to remove the fishy smell from my hands.

We only paid for the wine Edmund ordered. Plus 10 tip. Our meal had been paid na daw according to the waiter. Thank you Lindsay.

Seafood Restaurant is right on the cliff behind the British Golf Museum. It has a commanding view of the ocean but we didn’t get to see it because we came night time. Tables get full anytime of the year so reserve a table in advance.

After a satisfying dining experience, we walked back in pitch dark pathways, on the side s of the Old Course fairways.   I walked behind Edmund for two reasons. To shield myself from the strong and freezing wind, and to follow his white shoes. I couldn’t see the path, I could only see his shining white shoes.

This one lighted post enticed me to ask Edmund to take my picture. The effect?

Nagmukha akong pang-Halloween.

    1. Naku I forgot, pls go tot he SEARCH boc on the upper right hand of Ohmybuhay home page. Type Embarcadero, or Oysters. This will lead you to my blog entry about that restaurant. It’s in Embarcadero, I think it’s HOG oYSTERS.

    2. Hi,
It’s HOG ISLAND OYSTER. It’s facing the water in Embarcadero. They always get full, be prepared to wait for 10 – 15 minutes. I love their Clam Chowder Soup. it’s not creamy. Others just have potatoes, theirs is really full of clams.

      I hope this helps.
      Regards,
      Annie
