Shopping at Desert Hills Premium Outlet

I only found out that there’s a big premium shopping outlet just 30 minutes from Indian Wells and it’s along the way to Los Angeles.

Here we are at Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon, California.

Desert Hills Premium Outlet
We are timing our stops to ideally be in the Bay Area by 6 pm. Our time allotted for exploring Desert Hills is 1 hour. It’s not enough. This is as big as Woodbury Commons in New York and the luxury brands are here except of course for a few such as Chanel, LV, and Hermes.

This is such a nice place to shop or make pasyal-pasyal. It’s clearly upscale and reputedly has the largest collection of branded stores in California. Some of the brands located here are Alexander McQueen, Tomy Hilfiger, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Tori Burch, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Bally, Burberry, Christian Dior, Christian Louboutin, Valenciaga, Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Calvin Klein, Celine, Chloe Carolina Herrera, Coach, Club Monaco, Mulberry, MCM, and many more.

I have consumed the first 20 minutes just by walking to the other section where the luxury boutiques are. There are at least 30 people waiting outside Gucci,  plus those that are already inside the store.   I have no time to waste.

Oyen is looking for a specific bag made by Fendi.   Sa kahahanap ko lang kay Fendi, ubos na another 20 minutes.

I have 5 minutes to spend in 3 different stores.   I can’t do speed shopping in 5 minutes.

Jimmy Choo’s sandals are comfortable (most, not all).

My daughter used to like Herve Leger but it’s hard to fit into their clothes unless one is totally committed to maintaining a 24″ waistline with no puson.

Five minutes at Yves Saint Laurent.  Para akong fashion model.  Open the door, walk inside, go around, turn, pause, go outside.

Five minutes budget is for looking only, no touching, no trying on.  No sukat-sukat.

Desert Hills has a good collection of luxury brands. I notice that the stores here have larger selections of merchandise compared with those at the San Francisco Premium Outlet, North Las Vegas Premium Outlet.   Sayang,  malayo ito sa amin.  I don’t think I’ll have another chance to shop here,  unless Mister Yee joins a golf holiday again in Palm Springs.  Very slim chance.

I had a very elegant blue dress I found in Paris.  That was tekaaa… baka 30 years ago na  Nawala na yung dress, hindi ko iningatan.  Maybe one provincial lass who used to work for us as lavandera wears a Balmain.

Because the Philippines is currently in the middle of a hotly contested presidential race, colors associated with respected candidates have become highly sensational.   Every time I see pink,  I think of Leni.  blue is Isko Moreno, red is Bongbong Marcos.

Is Manny Pacquiao white?

I first discovered Anne Fontaine  at the Gallerie La Fayette in Paris long time ago when I was still a size small.   I have 4 white blouses and one black from Fontaine.  They are still hanging in my closet pero puno na ng alikabok.  They are either size small or medium, They no longer fit my XXL body frame but I refuse to donate or give them away.

I am down to 15 minutes. And where is Fendi?   Walang tao, walang map.

Finally,  Fendi is here.

There are  only a few bags on display and none of them is what Oyen is looking for.

Cute pink sandals.   I don’t have time to try this one on or even ponder if I like-like or super like it.

Hmm, it matches the green jungle printed gown made by Versace and worn by Jennifer Lopez.

I really really like this blue checkered ensemble. Kaya lang, parang uniform ni yaya.

Pink bags by @ Bottega Veneta.  Bagay ito kay VP Leni Robredo.

One hour is up, Mr. Edmund Tiger Woods Yee is already calling.
