After dinner, we explored the Sofitel hotel’s pool area. Kailangan daw maglakad kasi we were very bondat.
Oyen—— “I haven’t been here”.
Mom——- “Hindi anak, you’ve been here before. You had your second birthday party here”.
Oyen—— “yah, when I was two. That doesn’t count. As if I would remember… ”
Mom——- (laughs)

We couldn’t see the water. Nor hear it. There were no waves.
Masarp humiga dito
I could see a few stars.
So relaxing here, most especially with a very pleasant 20 degrees temperature.
I wanted to embrace my surroundings a few more minutes, except… “tart, tart, ikaw na lang ang nadyan.”.
The night before Oyen’s second birthday, Edmund and I came here. I stood at the counter for a few minutes. The next day, while I was getting dressed for Oyen’s birthday party, I couldn’t find my bracelet. I traced back where I could have dropped it. I phoned Philippine Plaza’s (original name) lost and found, and behold, my jewelry was there. The janitor picked it up right in front of the counter while he was sweeping the floor, a few minutes after I have left. To verify if indeed it was mine, they asked questions regarding the design, every bit of detail. I gave the guy a reward of P50. Ang laki-laki na yan nuon.
