There are cars that only need a few hours or a few days to fix. There are cars that are harder to fix depending on the situation and subsequent diagnosis.
Some customers get disappointed because it takes longer than their expectations. Repair people also want to finish the repairs as fast as they could but there are a few factors that can delay the repairs. One is the availability of the parts, especially on very old models. Second is the insurance approval and or the client’s approval, third is if your car needs a more thorough diagnosis like this one in the photo and dozens of other reasons.
A common comment by customers is why we are not able to detect the problem beforehand. We are like doctors. I just came from our family doctor for a checkup. My lungs were clear, my blood pressure was normal, my heartbeat was fine. Then the next morning I woke up with a malaise and migraine. Do I call up my doctor to yell at him? “Ano ba naman yan doc, galing na nga ako dyan kahapon, okay naman ako eh bakit ngayon masasakit buong katawan ko? Mukhang hindi mo naman ako chineck na mabuti”.
I had flu, the doctor prescribed antibiotics. After three days I was not feeling any better, mukhang lumala pa yata yung flu ko. I went back to the doctor, he gave me a new medicine. I did not yell at him to say “Nagta-trial and error ka yata, hindi mo alam ang ginagawa mo. Anong pangalan ng may-ari nitong hospital na ito? Sya ang gusto kong kausap!”
