When I saw photos of horses and dogs covered in thick layer of ash, my God, I started worrying naku baka nga itim na si Shallow, Harry, Daisy, Cali, and Jersey.
My imagination ran wild. I imagined our chickens were gasping for air. How could their tiny noses and lungs survive this catastrophe?
The ashfall was heavy in many parts of Tagaytay but luckily the wind blew in the opposite direction, not towards our farm. Swerte. We were spared from the great ashfall.
I would like to thank my dear OMB readers (now friends), most especially Haydee, Pam, Riza, Rissa, Grace, Emmy, Pinay Geek, Susan, John, Rusty, Sonja, Anne, Dee, who sent messages of concern about the farm. Some offered to send water to our animals.
Looking at the photos sent to Edmund by our foreman Noli, eto maputi pa rin sila.
Victor, Victoria, and the gangs seem fine. Only time will tell if they will develop some respiratory ailments from inhaling some bad ash.
My classmate Sonny Cualteros sent me an illustration of Taal Danger Zones.
We are in the danger zone! The barangay asked our caretakers to evacuate. Naku where will we bring them all?
Thank God they are fine! I kept checking your blog for updates 🙂
Miss Annie may nakita akong farm in Batangas na nag-ooffer ng shelter sa farm animals, maybe you can check them out? It’s located in Lian, Batangas. Maybe you can have someone check them out?

Shelter— We’ll keep them at the farm for now unless Taal dramatically changes its course. Thank you Pinay Geek.
