Nene said baka daw I’m busy today. We are all busy everyday so if we are going to think that we are too busy to have lunch with friends, we will never find the time to be together.
I told Nene 12:15 pm I would be in the restaurant. We picked Frazzled Cook because it’s only 10 minutes away from their house. I was three minutes late.
Nene arrived this morming at 1 o’clock from Seoul, Korea, while her sister Yoly came from Indonesia with her husband. They’re also busy and yet they went out of their way to have a casual lunch get-together.

My usual order from this restaurant, Grilled Herb Chicken Salad
Their Seafood Paella is in a small pan. Except for 3 shrimps, I did not think this qualified as a seafood dish. Their paella is not their specialty.
Yoly and Nene liked the cake creme brullee.
My usual order here, Pancake a la mode with vanilla ice cream and cinnamon powder.
Yoly recently fired their household maids ( kasambahays) kaya wala syang helpers ngayon.
Nene said we (tayong lahat) for sure lose money from our cabinets, bags, wallets, except that we are not able to notice kasi we’re busy and usually we don’t count our money. Tutoo yan, just recently Edmund noticed that he’s losing P2,500 approx. from his wallet. In my case, every now and then, I would wonder, how come I finished all my cash in my bag that fast “Ay, wala na pala akong pera”.
And I would try to think what I bought, where and how I spent my cash. kasi busy tayo, we are not able to keep track of the items we are losing or we’ve lost.
In Yoly’s case, they only noticed this particular case because they lost dollars. And usually the bank gives a print-out of the serial numbers for every dollar bill.
One of Yoly’s maids stole at least a thousand US dollars from their locked cabinet including two gold bracelets. She could not pinpoint which particular maid that’s why she fired all of them including the one who’s been with them for seven years. Their #one suspect is the newly hired one (one month).
Her sister in law incidentally lost very valuable jewelries from Dugo-dugo Gang.
