My sister has lots of tiny plants scattered at her kitchen counters, around her sink.  She also has bigger ones in her backyard.  They are beautiful and need little attention.

My sister in law also has a row of beautiful succulents lined in front of her porch.

I also want to plant those around our cottage house but I couldn’t find any in the gardens in Manila.  I went to Bulacan garden and the woman didn’t even know what succulent I was talking about.  I went to the plant stores beside the Christ the King Church and they too didn’t have what I was looking for.  When I mentioned the word succulent, they pointed at the miniature cactuses.

I don’t like cactus, I want the succulents similar to the ones I’ve seen in the US.
