We live in a country with lots of mosquitoes everywhere we go. Be it at home or in the office. The risk of getting bitten by the dengue-carrying mosquito is always present.
Dengue is common in more than 100 countries around the world. Forty percent of the world’s population, about 3 billion people, live in areas with a risk of dengue and we are in one of them.
My son-in-law stayed at the hospital for a week due to dengue. My daughter suspected that he was bitten while they were walking around the village where his parents’ live. Mahilig kasi sya magsuot ng shorts while walking. Dapat long pants.
My daughter scrambled to find Type AB blood in case her husband’s platelet count dropped to a dangerous level. Thank God, Derrick didn’t need platelet / blood transfusion. There were many generous people who were on standby just in case.
Always remember this rule: it’s better that you have it even if you don’t need it rather than you need it and you don’t have it.
Derrick’s platelet started normalizing and his fever and headaches had stopped so he was discharged yesterday. We were so worried about his health and it’s a big relief that he is now at his parents’ house resting and recuperating.
Chit Juan of ECHOstore sent me three bottles of Tawa Tawa Tincture for Derrick. I thought tea yun pala concentrated drops which were more effective daw. Maybe the Tawa tawa also helped in Derrick’s cure.
Tawa Tawa is available at the ECHOstore in Makati.
