The Ford group fell in love with the Salpicado at the Ford Cainta Launch which I actually ordered especially for Julienne. Salpicado is Spanish and not part of La Cuisine’s French dishes. I ordered Salpicado again for Makati Ford’s party because the Ford people might look for it.

We spent extra on food (Via Mare) for Matt Bradley. I want him to taste good Filipino dishes.
And during the presidency of FVR, Via Mare catering was probably the favorite of the President and First Lady Ming Ramos, kasi in several dinner functions in Malacanang that I have attended, Via Mare catered, like during the King and Queen of Spain’s visit, etc. After his term ended, we had dinner at their house in Alabang and again, Via Mare served us a very good Filipino meal. I wanted to make sure that FVR would like the food.
Via Mare is also well experienced in serving dignitaries. I don’t want to worry that other waiters would not know know how to properly serve food to FVR and Matt Bradley, including Randy, Sec. & Mrs. Domingo, Mayor Binay and to all our guests.
Most of the guests stayed at the La Cuisine section. They thought the Via Mare food was only for the guests of honor.
Kaya maraming natira from Via Mare which we divided among the guests, utility people and some of our staff. oKay lang kasi they would bring those home to their families. Kami naman, I brought home one tray of Beef Caldereta which Edmund and I ended-up eating the next day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sobrang sarap pala. it has the right spice, at malakas sa kanin. Isang bandehadong kanin mauubos ko yata.
Bibingka and Puto Bumbong. My son and I love puto-bumbong. Sayang hindi ako gaanong nakakain.

Yes Annie, masarap yun beef, we ate the day after. My husband and my son ay nagustuhan ang lasa. Thanks for inviting me, also the Binangonan Alumni Association officers ay nag enjoy s Grand Opening ng Ford. Congrats at halos lahat ng umattend ay masaya s food at taking pictures….:)
