1. Many priests use the church to enjoy life’s comforts contrary to their vow of poverty. I am not expecting them to live poor but at least they should have the moral decency to live within the bounds of their vocation. Monies earned by the church or whatever projects entrusted to them must be used for the benefit of the majority in need. Medical assistance, education, cathechism, etc. but never for the priest/s to live luxuriously and have girlfriends.

2. There’s a foundation/ association composed of Chinese-Filipino businessmen who’s office is in Binondo who continuously raise funds and build thousands of classrooms nationwide. They’ve been doing this for several years. They have found a way to eliminate loopholes in the purchasing of materials that’s why the per classroom cost is very low in comparison to other similar projects. If the government would be able to eliminate or minimize super-mega-overpricing, they would be able to provide more classrooms and better facilities.

3. Oyen has suggested that we go to the refugee camp in Villamor to adopt some families.
I am not sure if I am prepared to sponsor some families or persons indefinitely, and make them live with us. Tila mahirap. I will just help in other ways.
I think the government should set-up shelters for these Yolanda victims, in the place where they used to live. Metro Manila currently is already choking with informal settlers. Where would they go? Except those with relatives here who are capable of supporting them while they get back on their feet. Pero kung wala rin, problema yan. I think they would be better off starting life where they came from. Unfortunately, I know it’s not that easy to re-build.

Nakakaiyak. Sana wag na tayong dayuhin dito ng mga malalakas na bagyo.
Hindi ko ma-imagine kung tumama yan sa Maynila. Baka pati tayo eh refugee na.
