Just a week after my pneumonia has cleared, I started coughing again. Not as bad as what I had for three weeks but it’s still bothersome. Actually more worrisome. How come I have ubo again?
After I discovered that Maid H used my supilyo in cleaning my lababo, it got me thinking. Baka dati na nga nyang ginagawa yan. Baka matagal na nyang ini-is-is yung lababo using my toothbrush. Not far-fetched.
My readers were correct. It was a blessing in disguise when my toothbrush went missing. Had she remembered to return it, eh di patay na, I would be using it again.
And my dear readers have the same suspicions. Ala ka, baka kaya lagi akong may ubo. Lababo organisms went into my mouth and throat. Oh my buhay that’s disgusting and revolting.
Counting from the time she started working here, that’s when I started coughing and getting sick. Meron din syang ubo bagong dating pa lang sya dito. But Edmund said, mas nauna raw akong may ubo.
This morning when I discovered she did use my toothbrush, I wanted to let her go, but two of our maids were leaving this morning so I’ll just wait for a couple of days.
In the meantime we will keep our toothbrushes inside locked cabinets. Or we will use disposable toothbrushes.
It was truly unbelievable that her filthiness is to the max. Nakakadismaya sya talaga! We’re proud pa naman na sabihin sa ibang lahi na malilinis ang Pinoys (lalo na sa katawan) tapos, may mga ganyan.
If she does not care for her own simple personal hygiene, na tinuturo pa lang sa atin sa elementary, what more can you expect for her to care for other people? Malamang, di lang sipilyo nyo ang ginagamit nyan. At di lang sa lababo nakakarating ang service ng toothbrush nyo. We don’t know kung pati sa toilet bowl ay sinasawsaw nya, everytime na pinagsasabihan nyo sya. Maraming possibilities. Kaya one-time lang na mahuli nyo, it was reasonable enough to fire her.
It was indeed true that you have strong instincts (and pasensya), may ginagawa na pala syang di maganda nuon pa kaya siguro mabigat ang loob nyo sa kanya.
Please let her go kung di sya magkukusang umalis – kahit idaan pa yan sa botohan! Hehehe.

I sometimes go against my instincts due to compassion. Then something happens that makes me realize I should have trusted the warning signs emitted by my instincts.
Ms. Annie, Ako, like you, give many chances but this time may pagka medical/clinical ang iyong maid. Baka mamaya may alam pa yan na mga fungi sa ilalim ng lababo na nakakatepok at ihalo sa inyong kinakain.. Mas mabuti pang wala muna maid kesa malubhang magkasakit. Please let her go na lang kaya, if you feel what I’m saying.

Hi Ms. Annie, paalisin nyo na po agad yan sorry po pero hindi po nakakatuwa yun ginawa nya sobrang dumi po ng lababo… kainis sya sorry mam pero hindi po kasi nakakatuwa ginawa nya… baka mamaya po pati mga undies nyo po ni Ms. Oyen ay ginagamit nya… wag ka na manghinayang po na pailisin yan madali po mag hanap ng maid… as in kung pwede po ngayon na eh… ma’am annie marami po nangangailangan ng work..let her go..
