They both wanted to try Aling Lusing’s Sisig daw. I didn’t know where Oyen got that information that Pampanga’s sisig is very good.
I spoiled their adventure spirit when I told them it was late, I didn’t want us to venture outside of Clark just to look for this sisig.
Yats Club is walking distance from Holiday Inn. According to the concierge, the food’s good but “very expensive”
I wanted to buy a bottle of wine, as if naman I drink wine. Oyen said “Mom, buy something that has your birth year on it”.
Pero parang wala. Hayan yata 1975 (joke!)
Anak dapat pala sa’yo ito o, Saint Julien.
Masayang lang ito, bubuksan ng mga maid, akala imported patis.
Yats has an extensive wine collection. If you want a 113 year old wine, you can buy from them P1.2M lang naman or

Give Nyke a Menu with Lamb, 100% he would order that.
Give Oyen a Menu with Salpicao, 100% she would order that. Yats wah salpicao.
The ambience made me sleepy. Actually, it was almost 10 pm, we’re supposed to be sleeping not eating.
I ordered New York clam chowder. It was served hot and tasted good but I did not taste any clam.
Yen ordered a set menu which included a bowl of pumpkin soup. She liked my soup better.
10:30 pm dinner @ Yats Club in Mimosa
The steak was perfect according to Oyen. Nyke said the Lamb Shank was “okay”. I guess it was good because he cleaned his plate. My Herb Chicken was good too. The meat was tender.
Nyke ordered moist chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream
Oyen’s set menu came with cheesecake with mango compote. I liked this because it wasn’t sweet at all.
We decided to just walk back to the hotel to burn some of the calories. We were so very very full.
It was a short walk, maybe 5 minutes.
The lobby was quiet and devoid of guests when we arrived from dinner. Well, it was almost 11 pm.
