Today is Sunday and there are throngs of tourists exploring the cathedral, the courtyards, and the castle, with their respective local guides. Although Covid has eased, we are still cognizant of the risks involved in mingling with this many people.
Just 10 steps away from the cathedral is Prague Castle built in the 9th century. It has an unusually long dining table being readied for a state dinner in a few days.
I have a deep fascination with long dining tables. Maybe in my past life, I was a queen hosting many dinner nights with VIPs, or maybe I was a waitress tasked to style long tables.
