I am not a fan of walking tours. I get so tired. Our second day walking tour to La Rambla to Barri Gotic clocked 12,000 steps according to Bong’s fit bit. I didn’t remember any of the history or hyped info given by the tour guide. I didn’t enjoy this walking tour.

I looked for every opportunity to stop, rest my buttocks and heels.
For older women like me, a 3-1/2 hours non stop walking, standing, no break, was grueling. I didn’t enjoy this at all.

Mabuti pa kung sumakay kami nitong double decker bus.

Our tour was all lakad and tingala. Wala naman kasing view. Puro building ni Gaudi, etc. Kaya puro looking up. Masakit na ang legs and feet ko, may stiff neck pa ako. I couldn’t keep on looking up because I would feel nauseaus in just after a few minutes.

The guide gave us 20 minutes or less to see the cathedral from the inside.
It’s enough daw to make one circle around the courtyard.

Ano bang circle circle. Ayaw ko ng maglakad. I went inside the souvenir shop and bought a small figurine of Mama Mary and Baby Jesus for 20 Euro. Happy pa ako.

I totally lost my sense of direction during the 3.5 hours walking tour. I didn’t have time to stop at souvenir shops because I would be left behind. I saw some nice things but I couldn’t go back. I had no idea where I was.
