The world is on the verge of a catastrophic war on humanity. It is scary but what do we do? The only thing that we could do is pray and continue to be good people. There is already an oversupply of bad people on earth so let’s not add to their number.
When I visited former Philippine president Fidel V. Ramos in his office sometime in October 2016, he told me World War III will happen no later than 20 years from now or even sooner. He mentioned North Korea.
Recently North Korea fired a missile which landed in the exclusive economic zone of Japan. I don’t know how Japan will react.
North Korea continues to provoke other countries. Let’s hope and pray that they stop and their leaders become more reasonable in the spirit of goodwill and world peace.
I am not sure if Donald Trump will add to the world problem or contribute to world peace. The world used to look up to America as one powerful and invincible nation. Trump and his cabinet unknowingly is opening up America’s vulnerability. By the way, Obama was in St. Andrews, sayang we were one month too early. I want to see President Obama in person. I want to shake hands with him. I want to have a selfie with him. O tama na dami ng wishes.
What’s happening in our own backyard is one grave concern. There’ s war in our own country.
When I was little, my parents always talked about HUKs. I thought those group of people were only fighting the government because they were mad at then president Ferdinand Marcos. I thought they were only against his government, his policies, his style of governance. When Marcos was replaced by Cory Aquino, the fighting continued. That meant they were not really mad at Marcos. And why would they be fighting still with Cory’s new government that meant well for our country? Then came President Ramos, then Erap, then Mrs. Arroyo, Pnoy, and Duterte. Pardon my ignorance but I don’t know exactly what the NPA’s are fighting about and fighting for. Kala ko kasi meron lang silang ayaw sa pamamalakad ng gobyerno. Pero iba-iba na ang umupo, galit pa rin sila. I thought Duterte has a direct link and a personal friendship with the NPA leaders. Bakit may away pa rin?
Can we not live in peaceful harmony with our co-Filipinos? Can we please be kind to one another? Ano ba ang pinag-aawayan ninyo ha? Kapwa Pilipino ang gusto ninyong saktan at patayin. Huwag naman. Maikli na ang buhay, huwag nating paiklian pa sa pagsisimula ng gyera. Ang mga taong namamatay ay merong mga pamilya na nagmamahal at naghihintay sa pag-uwi nila. Sana meron tayong malasakit sa isa’t isa. Pwede bang mamuhay tayo ng tahimik at walang masamang intensyon sa kapwa?
Life is so precious. We all have one life to live. Let’s value our life as much as we value others.

Nakakalungkot. Pero tama po kayo. May recurring dream po ako tungkol sa invasion. At mga signs ay nasa paligid lang. But I’d rather not focus on things that are sad and I can’t control. All that is left is for us to pray and be good people.
