we want to live in peace and harmony - Oh My Buhay

we want to live in peace and harmony

My family is very concerned about the peace and order situation in the Philippines and most especially in Manila because this is where we live and work.

All of us want to live in a country and city where there’s stability. A place that gives us peace of mind, freedom to go about our daily lives without fear, danger to our person and properties.

A place that offers tremendous opportunities for the majority and its citizens are productive and share a common desire to be progressive in a peaceful environment.

A country where the democratic government is just, for the people and by the people.

A country whose leaders have a deep sense of gratitude and subjugation to its citizens. Leaders who say, act, do things for the benefit of the common good. Not to caress their shrinking eggs, coat their bloated egos, line their thick pockets. Leaders who are not arrogant and boastful. Leaders who are team players. Leaders who understand that the Philippines belong to a bigger world where we interact, intermingle, and work together for the common good.

Leaders who are not arrogant, have utmost respect for our constitution, hierarchy in government and all its citizens. Government officials who accept and understand that they are here to work as our good servants and not to expect to be treated like Kings and Queens.

A country that allows its citizens to flourish and where opportunities abound. A country where citizens respect each other and live in peaceful harmony with it’s surroundings. A place where we can walk, drive, ride, without any fear of being robbed, harassed, raped, shot.
A country whose citizens follow the law and respect other people.
