We were all sinners - Oh My Buhay

“Don’t judge. Only God can say if he/she is wrong”. So, ano na ang tama o mali? Hindi na natin alam? Kung yung anak nyong dalaga ay nakikipaglandian sa pari, is that what you’re going to say? Are you going to keep your mouth shut and just pray for the priest’s and your daughter’s forgiveness and deliverance from heaven? I am sure you are not going to close your eyes and be calm.

Ganun na nga yun, tao tayo, tuwing magkakamali our common excuse is
“I am just human. Don’t judge, you are just human, you are also a sinner. We are all sinners”. That is a given. But we should try our best to be good persons. After recognizing that we have mistakes, we should stop doing the same things and change our lives, our ways. Do good. Be good. Do not abuse “forgiveness”. We should use the past tense “We WERE all sinners”.

I am not pretending to be a moralist and a saint. I had sins too but notice the use of HAD (PAST TENSE). My list of sins was just a little bit shorter than my mortgage payments.

At ngayon, puro kabutihan na lang ang dapat nating gawin for the rest of our lives.

  1. Very well said, OMB… Religion is personal, & you do not have to show people that you go to church to every mass there is for them to say you’re devout. They sure are the hypocrites of such society… BE GOOD to yourself, & that goodness bounces off around you… Take care, & buon giorno!

  2. I agree!!!! very well said.
