More photos from Abel Jose and Cara Sanvicenter’s wedding reception helo in Green Canyon Leisure Farms, Clark.
The groom first thanked his parents and guests. Then directed his speech to his brand-new in-laws. He said he was grateful and they built this and that (tent and the buildings) and made all the preparations to show his gratitude to them. Not his exact words but more or less that was the meaning. He said his mom spent 8 months preparing the venue for this night. The father built the tent and the 4 buildings to house the guests. He also said if there was something else that they could do to please them, they would do it. Edmund and I were both touched by what the groom had said. We felt the sincerity and generosity to do whatever they could to please his wife.
The bride wore a lace gown for the church ceremony. For the reception, she wore this beautiful white bareback with a big ribbon by fashion designer Maureen Disini, a take on minimalism but still stunningly elegant. The gown complemented the bride’s svelte body and the large bow gave it a maximum impact.
Edmund saw his long time friend and loyal Ford EDSA customer, Butch Prieto. Apparently Butch is the first cousin of the mother of the bride. Cherry Pie Jose.
I wished the salad had more dressing.
Spinach Ravioli
I requested for lemon grass juice which they served at the cocktails reception, wala na daw.

I didn’t know there was a dessert bar pala. The waiter gave us the tiramisu which I thought that was the only dessert.
I ate the petals and the bottom part only of this tiramisu.
Majority of Edmund’s friends left for Manila right after the reception. We thought of going home na rin but we booked a room so sayang naman. We took it as an opportunity to spend a romantic evening in our room. I could hear the music coming from the tent, complimented by Edmund’s snoring. Honeymooning in his dreams.
