Breakfast, Manila, Church

March 10, 2019

We joined Joel Sanvicente, Zaldy, his two daughters and the rest of the close family and friends of the bride and groom for breakfast.

Joel told us his mother in law, the lola of the bride, collapsed and fell into a coma the night of the wedding.  The family was in a quandary whether to proceed with the wedding or not.  The lola had an aneurysm and is still in a coma in a hospital somewhere in Pampanga as of this writing.  They couldn’t move her to Manila because according to the doctors her condition is too fragile.

I was still full from the previous night’s dinner but I couldn’t resist the tinapa.

The tomato salsa and tinapa were a perfect combination. I got one more piece of fish. They rhyme.

Four of these hotel buildings were constructed by groom’s dad, Jose Jose, in time for the wedding. Green Canyon Leisure Farms is open to the public and is an events place too. The additional hotel rooms would be rented out to holidayers, corporate and private events.

The body of a dead ipis greeted me. We’re home.

We rested for a while then went to church. For the first time I was using this fan I bought from a tiny souvenir shop in Slovakia, 4 years ago.

  1. Miss Annie, I discovered a very effective cockroach bait. In less than 3 days, ubos ang ipis sa condo. I bought it sa Amazon.com. Advion cockroach gel bait. Nakakatuwa kasi mga 3 hrs lang after application, I saw dead ipis everywhere na. Then after 3 days, wala na akong makita. It’s been 2 months now and the condo is still ipis free.
