There are a few restaurants and shops that are already open at the new wing of Shangrila Mall.
The place is AA not DEF.
It may look grand in this photo but the place is actually small. There may be another area to be opened soon but from what I’ve seen, it’s small.
There are many escalators, parang up and down kami.
There are a few restaurants on the basement. Basement ba ito o ground floor?
Wee Nam Kee is a Singaporean franchise. The Philippine franchisee is the brother of Oyen’s ICA friend and classmate, Liezel.
Plenty of people. I wonder how many of this people are actually Chinese eating Chinese food.
Edmund and Nyke ordered Hot & Sour Soup while Oyen ordered a cup of corn soup.
I couldn’t eat more than a spoonful of this. The vinegar was too strong for my taste. I didn’t taste the flavor of the other ingredients.
Crispy Baby Squid. Beybing-beybi talaga. Ang liit-liit. I feel guilty eating anything that’s baby. They were not given a chance to live and see the world. Kinain na agad natin.
They offer two kinds of Hainanese Chicken. The yellow one is double the price but it’s more flavorful. This is the yellow version. It maybe too raw for Filipinos. Medyo reddish pa yung loob.
Wee Nam Kee fried rice.
Edmund——— “Parang Yang Chow. Asan yung hipon? Bakit sa picture ang dami at ang lalaki ng hipon?”
He’s right, I only saw one tiny shrimp. The picture in the menu had big shrimps.
Omb—- “Tart, remind me not to order this again. Hindi masarap. Matamis”.
This’ supposed to be Fried Prawns in Cereal or Cereal Prawns. Parang serial killer prawns.
This Lechon Macao was good and not fatty.
Oyen didn’t find any dessert she liked from the Wee Nam Kee menu so we just went back to the orig Shangrila Mall building. Edmund and I were already seated inside Golden Spoon but when Edmund realized that Nyke was getting the P200/cup deal, he went out. He’s embarrassed daw. Imagine, the 4 of us would share in a P200 cup of yogurt.
Oyen, Nyke, and I shared in this “put all you want” P200 yogurt promo. It’s not the amount that we saved, it’s just fun. And come to think of it, spending P67 per person for yogurt is not actually cheap.
