The first thing that the wedding coordinator asked when we arrived at the wedding venue was “Do you have a copy of your marriage license?”
I have it in my email but I forgot to print it. Oyen was able to retrieve it from her phone but when we told them that it would only be a renewal of vows then a marriage license won’t be necessary. And most especially when they learned that we’ve been married for 35 years. They all looked stunned. Lahat ng tao na marinig na 35 years, parang nasa-shock. Most of them weren’t born yet.
They made us sign several pages of contract. Eto na official. We’re getting married.
