Edmund’s spine surgery is scheduled on Monday, August 11, 2025. We will transfer to Wooridul Spine Hospital at 2 pm on Sunday, August 10, to prepare for the surgery. Comprehensive medical tests will be conducted prior to the operation to make sure Edmund is fit to undergo surgery.
In the meantime, we have two days to relax and explore the shopping malls surrounding the hotel and enjoy delicious Korean food.
There are underground shopping malls beside the hotel complex accessible by walking or escalator ride.
We enjoyed buying some supplies for our extended stay here in Seoul from Uniqlo and Zara.
Food choices are in abundance depending on your mood.
The Hyundai Mall is just next door from the hotel and it has most major luxury brands. While I window shopped, my husband went to the cafe located on the 7th floor.
My brother’s office in Manila encountered some urgent problems so they called me but I couldn’t be of any help. I felt sorry that I couldn’t help them. Due to my brother’s extended medical leave, I’ve been giving them some directions and helping them sort some things out. But there are things I couldn’t do. Like the one they needed soonest. Their SOS came in while I was window shopping at Hyundai Mall. Sobra akong na stress. Pumangit na ako lalo. They eventually found a way, a band-aid solution. I hope this situation never happens to them again. Nakaka stress actually. Sobra.
After that call, I lost interest in window shopping but I continued to walk around the mall to increase my number of steps. Exercise na lang. I have absolutely no motivation to look at clothes due to my pineapple-shaped body.
