Edmund wasn’t able to play golf last Saturday because of the heavy rain. His golf mates thought rain wouldn’t stop so they cancelled. But at around 6 they were texting him to say it’s a go because the sky has cleared. Edmund fell back to sleep and didn’t see the messages and missed calls till after 7:30am.
He didn’t want to have lunch at home for fear of Joyce’s hotdog craze.
We went to Robinson’s Galleria instead.
The valet parking was most helpful, at P100 medyo mahal rin but we didn’t bring a driver so we had no choice.
What used to be the deck parking has been converted into what they call VERANDA. About a dozen restaurants now line-up this side facing Ortigas Avenue. Good concept but one could inhale all the pollution. The sight of the jeepneys, penhandlers, fly over, the building of Eton, don’t make a very good view while eating.
Shrimp wanton soup, instead of their usual spicy broth, we requested for a clear soup, which definitely affected the taste. It became tasteless.
Spicy tuna salad, good, very spicy.
As if the pollution from EDSA and Ortigas Ave. were not enough,
