Prior to our trip, Oyen had already booked us a table at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant in Ion Orchard for today, June 25.
She knew I wanted to eat black pepper crab which is popular in Singapore.
Our table has the best view of Orchard Road.

A rare occurrence that Mr. Yee is craving for shark fin soup. Â The soup is too thick. Â Eto pa lang nakakabusog na. Â If we were at home I would boil it with two more cups of water para dumami. Â Go and multiply.
He also ordered scallops.

Black pepper crab, and chili crab, are only for those willing to dirty their hands and lick their fingers. Â That’s me!
I was satisfied with Oyen’s choice of restaurant. Jumbo is conveniently located, just a short walk from our hotel, and the place is clean and service was good. The food was good too.
