We watched Pacquiao‘s previous fight in a restaurant and the screen was small so this time we decided that watching it in a cinema with a bigger screen would be better.

When we arrived at Cinema 2 in Eastwood, the screen was big but it was very blurry. I couldn’t even look at the screen even for a few seconds because it was dizzying. We complained to their staff and manager and when they couldn’t remedy it, we refunded the P2,800 we paid for 4 tickets of P700 each.

We couldn’t watch inside TGIF, Blue Onion and Circa although they still had available seats because their bars were full of smokers.

We crossed the street and ended up watching at the ballroom of the Richmonde Hotel. We paid P600 per person but there was no more food but they gave free iced tea, water and coffee. I spotted some celebrities like brothers Randy and Rowell Santiago.

During the fight, I made 4 trips to the toilet from anxiousness. I also have a stiff shoulder and neck from avoiding Marquez’s punches. Ako ang ilag-ng-ilag.

All of us were disappointed because we were expecting a knock-out. We wanted solid punches from Manny Pacquiao and not from Marquez. We waited for a dramatic ending with Manny still winning.
We left the ballroom with bewildered looks and not feeling proud at all.

Congratulations na rin to us Filipinos.
Congratulations na rin to Manny Pacquiao.
Congratulations na rin to Marquez.
