Last sunday November 20, was the Fiesta of Christ the King, one of the titles that was given to Jesus Christ. It’s celebrated annually on a sunday that falls between November 20 and November 26
Our village’s parish is named the Christ the King that’s why some celebrations were held.
One time I joined the village procession, which I thought would just go around a few streets within the village.
Biglang lumabas ng village gate, tapos we ended up along Katipunan Avenue, tapos we entered Whiteplains Subdivision, tapos Acropolis, then into the Christ the King Church. Dyos ko ang layo ko na, how would I go back. My family didn’t have a clue that I was 2 or 3 kilometers away na and it was 10 pm. I didn’t bring a handbag, I left my phone in the car which I parked near the clubhouse.
I hitched a ride with an old lady that I just met at the church.
