It’s sunday and we’re going to Tagaytay. How do I look? When I smile wrinkles appear, When I frown, wrinkles are there too. What shall I do?
Face lift?
Very light traffic today along EDSA and in SLEX.
We stopped by at a small gas station along Sta. Rosa Road. Edmund went straight to the toilet. I followed because I would also pee. but wait, I looked at the door signs
Me— Tila pang babae yata yan
Edmund- hindi, pwede pareho
Me—- (unisex? I stood outside the two doors, trying to ascertain which is which, while Edmund continued to pee inside the ladies’ toilet)
Me— hindi, pam babae yan. Eto o (pointing at the door sign)
I went inside, Edmund was still inside one of the cubicles.
There’s a family with two little children that entered and saw Edmund’s shoulders and head sticking-out of the cubicle because he’s tall.
Girl to her mom— There’s a man inside. Is this for girls?
When you reach Sta. Rosa, you would think that you’re almost there in Tagaytay, but no. It would take another half-hour to reach the Rotonda even without any traffic congestion.
My children have outgrown horseback riding.
We were looking at something then when I looked up, there was a very big spider dangling right above me, I screamed and ran.
We made usyoso this mini resort, no name, but owned by the 5R hotel.
There were no people and the gate was open.
Forgive us Lord for our tresspasses.
This was in another place in Tagaytay near Sotogrande Subdivision.
There’s a view of rolling hills and there were so many wild sunflowers.
We had lunch in Tagaytay, as usual, at Fire Lake Grill. We ordered, as usual, Tuna Salad Nicoise, Blackened Beef Salad, two whole black truffles with arugula pizza and one whole pepperoni. It’s like we had one whole pizza each.

Chef Paul was there, oh he lost a lot of weight. He’s doing the all protein diet- no rice, no pasta, no carbo. He should’ve told us before we devoured his delicious gourmet pizzas.
We were back home by 4 pm. Julienne brought the puppies to our tiny garden to exercise their legs.

My son didn’t go with us to Tagaytay because he played basketball with his high school friends.
