I have decided to post a lot of photos of Me, me and Me. Why? it’s not because I like myself too much, it’s not because I am too conceited.
Because I don’t like how I look now. I notice all my wrinkles, my bulges, all that ugliness. I feel depressed everytime I see my pictures.

I know how I look would not improve. The law of diminishing return has taken over my looks. so kahit anong gawin kong mukmok, talagang my wrinkles would eventually rule my world. TODAY.

BUT, fast forward, 10 years from now, 15 years, 20 years (if I am still alive), when I see these photos I have posted today, I would feel the reverse. I would feel happier. I would say, wow ang ganda- ganda ko pala nung araw. Wala pa akong wrinkles, konti pa lang bilbil, and so on and so forth.

I think my rationalization is correct so my friends and relatives, I beg for your indulgence. Masasawa kayo sa pictures ko.

  1. Hi there!

I actually ran across your blog while googling something about balikbayan items from Manila at work. I read a couple of entries and piqued my interest. I’m actually writing this on my downtime at work in San Francisco. I find your posts amusing, heartfelt, compelling (about your stealing house help) and interesting, to say the least. I’ve lived here since 1984 and moved from Manila to the SF Bay Area when I was 10 years old. I barely speak any Tagalog but just enought to get me by. Thanks for sharing intimate pieces of your every day life.

Anyway, I am looking forward to more blog entries by you in the coming future.

    Your new follower,
    Mika

    1. Dear Mika,

Hello, I really do appreciate you taking the time to comment on my posts. Thank you so much.
Half of my posts are written in Tagalog. I hope you are able to understand my entries.
All my siblings live in the Bay Area, I’m the only one left here in Manila.
      Warmest regards,
      Annie
