Oh My Buhay regular reader Alvin Romero said that sneezing was believed to temporarily release the soul, thus we say “Bless You” to the person.

Lately, I try my hardest best not to sneeze for fear of accidentally blowing-away my one and only soul. What if my soul was thrown off so far away and wasn’t able to return because I sneezed so hard, then I am going to be kawawa. I don’t want to be known as ang babaeng walang kaluluwa.

OMB was born out of my desire to keep my memoir alive for my family’s future generation.
