ACtually our main purpose of dropping by HK even for a day from the Canton Fair is to retrieve Edmund’s Breitling watch that he had repaired last December. This is his favorite watch and he bought it in Paris more than ten years ago. He wears it everyday then all of a sudden it stopped working. Siguro sa kalumaan na.
Paris Flashback
Former President Fidel V. Ramos visited Paris a few months after his term as President finished. The visit was meant to continue promoting trade and investments. Our small delegation was headed by Secretary Cesar Purisima, who was the President of the Philippine-French Business Council.

There’s a Breitling service center in Manila pero their quotation for the repair of Edmund’s watch was almost P60,000. Sobrang mahal. In HK, Edmund paid P37,000+ and the watch now looks like new. Mura lang ang bili nya dun, ngayon super mahal na yata ang bago.
Edmund—— Dati hindi pa yan buntis (referring to Pauline, the lady in yellow shirt)
Me———- Ang bilis naman nyang mabuntis?
Edmund—— (Laughs)
Pauline’s first baby is due next month and it’s a girl.
