I wished we took Philippine Airlines instead in going to Sydney to save on the long hours of waiting and flying. Sydney is 7 hours away on a direct flight. But we took Manila to Singapore 3 1/2 hours, two-hours lay-over, then 7 hours to Sydney. Add another two hours waiting at the NAIA. Even if Singapore Airlines has very good service and their biggest jumbo jet, the A380 is so cool, the flight was still long and tiring.
Souvenir shops and food stalls at the NAIA I & II look like TIANGGE.
The tube made me feel claustrophobic because of the dozens of photos of high rise condominiums.
I made the right decision of bringing my 11 year old tote leather bag. It was a give-away from a store in Paris, Dubail. Kahit sipa-sipain okay lang. It had room for 4 passports, tickets, 2 cameras, wallet, extra sweater, scarf, make-up kit and my medicines.
A coffee shop at the Changi Airport, the employee is a Filipina. Compare how this looks with the Vin-Vin Kiosk at the Naia II.
Do you see the difference between this souvenir shop and the shops at the NAIA I & II?
My kids enjoyed the two-hour Singapore lay-over.
