I went with Aileen to pick-up some groceries from Island Pacific in Union City.
Island Pacific Supermarket is owned by Filipinos and it’s spread-out in California in ten locations namely Vallejo, National City, West Covina, Oxnard, North Vermont, South Vermont Los Angeles, Canoga Park, Cerritos, Panaorama and Union City, the one we’ve been to many times.

Great article. I find that there are a limited quantity of actually nice eating places in Oxnard. It seems that a number of eating places also just don’t make it as well. I do not know whether it is as a result of economy or what, but for a long time now I’ve seen many eating places come and go. It is good to see that there are extra high quality eating places opening though. There’s a new restaurant by 24 hour health that looks like they are actually prime notch and have superior food. Considered one of our favorites is Pirates Bar and Grill, a good ole American restaurant that has great american food.
