The day before my scheduled photo shoot with the team of Rupert Jacinto, Mega Magazine came over to Makati Ford and took photos of Kay Hart, the new country president of Ford Philippines, for a special feature on her.

Our employees didn’t know that after a few days, I would have my own “feeling celebrity shoot”.

I was not allowed to show advanced photos not until the book Faaabulous IV had been launched.

Not one in our office knew beforehand that there would be a photo shoot here. The showroom gals were surprised when I walked in wearing a flowing gown and fully made-up.
Of course what would they say “Boss, ang ganda nyo”.
Syampole, dapat beautiful.

I could not have done it without my daughter. She took charge of my hair, my make-up, my dress, my shoes, my poses. She was supposed to be in the photo also but didn’t even have time to dress-up because of me. She focused her attention on me. How lucky I am to have an understanding, supportive anak, tolerant of my quirks and inhibitions.

My photo didn’t look bad after all. I chose this photo because my wrinkles didn’t show.
I think the trick is not to smile too much so that the creases, eye bags, wrinkles, don’t show. Dapat mukhang stoned. Don’t move your face muscles.

Ruper Jacinto also guided me. I followed his facial expressions.

Itong pose ko na ito, mukha akong lito, didn’t know whether to smile, pout, or giggle.
But it came out the one with the least wrinkles. Dapat pala walang emotion para walang kulubot na lumabas. The lighting was also good, it eliminated shadows and reflections so as not to emphasize the rinkols.

This would be my official photo from now on till I reach 69 years old.
