Last Sunday, we agreed that we would just go to mass at 6:30 pm. We also dropped the idea of watching the Hunger Games after dinner kasi we had to buy advance tickets pa. Too much hassle according to husband.
Oyen went to pilates with my son. Edmund and I went to Rustan’s just to get out of the house while waiting for 6 pm, otherwise we would end up taking long naps.
It was traffic in front of Podium, around the corner to SM Megamall. Unahan sa parking. Masikip ang elevator. Puno ang escalator.
At Rustan’s, people were in every corner of the department store.
This is the start of holiday rush.
Go ahead if you could afford it. Find other ways of exchanging less expensive gifts. And try your best not to feel envious of others. That negative feeling could ruin your Christmas. Smile!
I bought this for my kitchen, it’s 50% off.
Problema who would install it up on the wall.
I grabbed a dress for my daughter and had it gift wrapped na rin. I found something that she needed, buy na rin. I need to get my son and Edmund something. Mas madaling bumili for girls.
I went inside Hugo Boss, for my son sana. T-shirt pa lang P9,500 na! Polo, ganun din. Maka ikot nga muna.
Lebron basketball shoes, eto sana but their biggest size left was 11. I think my son’s size is 12 for basketball kasi he wears an ankle brace.
Rustan’s has VIP lounges. Pag pagod ka na or while they wrap your gifts. You may stay here and have some quiet moments. Teka, bakit Men’s Lounge ang nakalagay. Ngayon ko lang napansin. Oops, wrong mistake. For men pala. Kaya pala the three Chinese guys were looking at me.
Edmund told me we should have bought Hugo Boss in Galleries Lafayette instead. We should have shopped in Marseille. There’s a Galleries Lafayette dun, walang gaanong tao but the choices were very limited, maliit lang kasi yung store.
Hala, I also do not have anything to give to Mister Husband. What can I add kaya to the list of “he never-liked-any-of-my-gifts collection?” At this point, I no longer worry whether he would like my gift or not. Acceptance stage na ako, that he would not like it at all. Baka ma-disappoint pa ako pag all of a sudden he began to like my gift. Baka ma-shock ako at ma-depress. Alam ko na, first time I would do this, I will buy something, tapos I would ask for a gift receipt para he can exchange it. Kailangan medyo mahal ng konti kasi he would know how much I paid for it. Dapat at least minimum wage.
We arrived in Rustan’s at 3 pm and agreed to just meet up near Cibo an hour later.
I got here by 3:45 pm, ang bilis ko talagang mag-shopping. We rested for a while at Cibo. Edmund’s golf friend saw us. He’s looking for a gift for himself- a Hublot watch. We saw a female friend naman buying two Rolex watches for men. Pang regalo nya.
I asked her “Hello, miss beautiful, are you buying a gift for me?”
