Having Fun in Prague - Oh My Buhay

This is a delayed post.

November 10, 2015

On our second day in Prague, Kimberly said four days are too much. On our third day, realizing that we’re leaving the next day, she said it’s too soon. Even before we left Prague, she was already planning on coming back next year, this time with her sisters.

The weather was cooperative, cold but not biting.

I now seldom buy refrigerator magnets. The ref looks madungis when there are lots of borloloys stuck on it. When removed, some magnets leave ugly marka on the ref’s wall.

The longer we stayed in Prague the more we appreciated the beauty of this city all its own. The Gothic buildings seemed to grow prettier each day.

Aside from the rows of traditional shops that we’ve been seeing everyday, we discovered where the branded stores are on our third night. Although they were already closed for the day, we still scanned the area so we know where to go the next morning.

I was mesmerized by this gorgeous party dress. I wish I have the waistline that would go with this.

I will try to contact the designer, Blanka Matragi. Maybe she could make one for me with a bigger waistline or she could just sell the dress to me with the matching mannequin.

Prague is a beautiful city to visit. If you like walking, then walking it is. The old town is big enough to spend your days. The musicians and street performers that take turns performing at the square are entertaining.

I asked for this tall guy’s permission for a photo, he was kind enough to say yes and he even gave me several poses.

Not an easy way to earn money. I noticed people were not dropping coins. The bubbles prevented the tourists from getting closer.

These rolled pastry are called Kurtoskalacs in Hungary. Here in Prague, I think it’s referred to as Trdelnik in Czech.

Every night, there’s a line to get your trdelnik at this shop.

Price is CZK 110 or P230 per cone with ice cream that’s more of frozen custard kasi it’s so creamy. Medyo mahal nga. Masarap pero kailangan pigilan ang sarili kasi tabachuychoy ang labas pag everyday kakain ka nito.
