I had lunch the other day at Casa Roces, a fairly new restaurant very near the main gate of Malacanang Palace. Former Philippine Ambassador to the United States and currently the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Albert F. del Rosario, hosted a formal luncheon for our group, Philippines, Inc.
The forthcoming State Visit of President Pnoy to China scheduled at the end of this month was the main agenda.
I was late by 20 minutes. It was so embarrassing. We were at the gate on that road by 11:50 am but there was heavy traffic due to the many schools in that area.
I wonder why my facial expression was like this…
(Hmm I know, I felt pee but too embarrassed to excuse myself, maya na lang)
Three minutes after I arrived, the Secretary said “Let’s seat inside while we wait for the others”.
I had to look for my name, to find where I should be seated.
Babe Romualdez, Tonyboy Cojuangco, Alfred Yao, Jesus Pineda, Jr.
Appetizer- Croquettes of Scallops, Foie Gras and Serrano Ham

This Lobster Bisque soup was tops. Super, I rate it 10 / 10 sarap.
Something was really wrong with me. Was I praying or what?
I looked a lot better when photo’s blurred. Here with Atty. Opap Villongco.
He represents his father in law, the late Atty. Siguion-Reyna, Sr.
Orange sorbet, palate cleanser, sarap din.
Orange granite wih Mint Gelee. Sarap din. I am matakaw, kaya lahat masarap.
This was the main event, Baked Chilean Seabass with Apple Emulsion and Yuzu Sauce. I would rate this an 8. I found the fish a little overcooked.
Different angle naman
I tasted it na kaya meron ng kagat.
Petit Malacanang Souffle, masarap din.
Dark Chocolate Jaconde. Pls google what jaconde means.
My skirt is by Max Studio, an XS. The blouse, by Massimo, supposed to be Medium. Pero Looking at this photo makes me wonder if I got that from the maternity section. Tila pambuntis. baka XL.

Hi Annie, I don’t think they noticed your expression in your first pic, because of their doble vistas…ha,ha…You still look great !..
what i mean is they’re more focused in your meeting agenda for the day…
Anne, Thanks for regularly reading ohmybuhay. Warm regards.
Thanks for the post.
