Before I went home this afternoon, I visited the Church of Saint Padre Pio in C5 Libis. I’ve been here many times and in fact, I’ve also brought about 30 of my high school batch mates here two years ago.
I come here when there’s no on-going mass. I like peace and quiet rather than praying with hundreds of people. I feel more at peace and in tune with God.
I’ve been feeling low the past few days and had trouble sleeping. I feel stressed, bothered and my adrenaline is always high. The facebook generation calls this pa-emote-emote or EMO for short. Maybe the scientific explanation is..EMenOpause.
Anyway, I only stayed for about 15 minutes because more people came, maybe there’s going to be a mass.
There was a long line to touch the hands of Padre Pio’s statue, I did not compete with them anymore, maybe they had bigger problems. I just prayed from a distance. But I dropped very long love letters to God. My requests naman are always for good health and safety.
