Jessie, Vivian, Len and Bong. Vivian and husband are migrating to the US and would be staying in San Jose and Hayward with their relatives. I arranged for her to meet Aileen and Bong because 3 of my siblings are from Hayward too. Para kung magkasalubong sila sa Southland Mall eh magka-kilala na sila.
Aileen is the new image model of the Mazda 2 compact sedan.
Aileen wanted to buy upholstery fabric for their dining chairs. She remembered comign with me to Townes in Pasay Road a couple of years ago. Townes is accessbile from my office so we swung by. Ang init pagbaba namin sa van.
She didn’t find what she was looking for. Bong was wondering why she would want to buy upholstery fabric in th Philippines instead of in the US where they’re also available.
Alam mo naman kaming mga babae, ang sagot dyan “basta”.
I brought them to Resort World. Not to the Casino, but to the shops.
They were impressed by Resort World’s a la Las Vegas look.
Whoever thought of paying tribute to our calesa by prominently displaying a life sized replica, I say to you- well done.

We went inside the Ferragamo boutique near the exit. I really liked the black slippers but they didn’t have size 7, they only have this display in 6. I’ve seen this in their boutique in Rockwell but they too didn’t have my size. They’re so soft.
The sales lady tried to sway me into buying this instead. Hindi bagay ‘to sa akin. Maybe-maybe.
