I am at the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore, California to buy a new pair of comfortable walking shoes or snickers.
My pair of blue Sketchers is overworn and needs a back-up. My husband hates it too kasi daw para akong kawawa. He’s been telling me to buy something that’s of higher category. But my pair of Snickers is so comfortable. To appease him, sige na nga, I am going to look for another brand. I hope I’ll find something as comfy.

Allbirds shoes

I walked by a newly opened store, Allbirds. Their window displays some simple-looking women’s shoes but they look comfortable and pretty nice too. The simpler the better.

A wall display of colorful yarn skeins organized by color and labeled on top.

Stacked colorful shoe boxes in a storage unit.

Modern retail display with clothing and shoes on shelves and a robot on the floor.

Row of casual shoes in various colors displayed on a shelf.

The colors are all pretty and soothjng to the eyes. The shoes seem weightless and comfortable. They may be worth trying.
I am ready to buy one or two pairs but Allbirds store doesn’t have my sise.

My husband brings me to Cole Haan.  To please him, I am bringing home this pair. It’s nice and comfortable too.

Made in Vietnam.  Good.   The US must spread the blessings to other countries too.  For their own survival, they must minimize their dependence on China.  They have made China the number one exporter in the world for consumer goods.

Without Edmund looking, I am back at Snickers. I am buying exactly the same as the one I have which he hates.
