I went to the House of Amir Sali this afternoon to order a cocktail dress but he wasn’t there and according to his assistants he’s visiting his 85 year old mother in Zamboanga.
Since I was already there I decided I might as well choose the materials for my dress so that when Amir comes on wednesday, he would already know what I want. His collection of materials from Europe is to die for.
Amir is an extremely talented designer. He was based in the Middle East for 20 years creating magnificent gowns for the princesses.
He also makes elegant bags.
