Ang takaw namin ng seafood

We missed lunch so we’re all hungry after watching Mama Mia!
My son wanted to go to the seafood market along Macapagal Avenue. My shoes were not ready for palengke but I had to. This would be our supper.

We were all stressed out buying seafood while being practically harrassed by the seafood vendors and by dozens of restaurant staff na pinag-aagawan kami. Nakabihis kasi kami, dapat medyo rugged.

We also hopped from one restaurant to another looking for a more decent, clean and comfortable place, etc. etc.
We also spanned the faces of their customers who were already dining. Pag hindi namin gusto ang hilatsya ng mukha, labas kami. We got tired doing that.

We were bargaining from a very weak position, naka bihis kami and since my kids were with me, talagang talong talo ako, sira ang bargaining powers ko.

The tinderas refer to this as California Crab eh alimasag lang naman ito. Baka galing sa San Francisco lumangoy ng lumangoy napunta sa Zamboanga or Roxas City. This is 900 grams, P600. It took my son forever to finish this one piece because it’s so big.
