One of the things that entertains me when I travel to Europe and America is going to antique malls / medium end flea markets. I mentioned medium end because in some flea markets, vendors cater to those looking for pennies and cents worth of items. I look for good buys but not garbage items.
A few weeks before I left for Las Vegas, I searched for an antiques mall and lucky for me they do have a few with the Antique Mall of America in La Vegas Blvd. as the larger one.
I took uber (of course) to bring me to this mall. I was not looking for something in particular. I would just look and see what I would find. I also have in mind that I have no space for big ticket items. Big means expensive and / or large.
There’s one long wall for art pieces and frames.
The mall is not so big, I say it’s medium size. I’ve been to bigger single stores in other places. This one is one warehouse with about a hundred small vendors.
Isang tingin ko pa lang, alam ko na agad kung type ko ang mga tinda o kailangan isa-isahin ko para meron akong makita na baka sakali eh magustuhan ko. Dito, mukhang wala.
$750 Santa. I don’t want to spend too much on seasonal items. Eleven months in a year nakatago lang sa box, tapos nalilimutan ko lang na meron pala ako nito.
Original antique about 70 years old, 10 ft high.
Japanese Samurai porcelain doll $1,490 ba kamo?
I like this. But instead of buying this antique frame, I just took a photo to remember what it says. Believe in the best….
$425 is just for this one plate, not a set for 20 px.
This I like. Not a particular item but I just like the farmhouse vibe.
Old and “ready for throwing items” look good when grouped together.
Even if the items are individually unappealing, the store stylist was able to achieve one charming nook.
I thought of buying this antique sign but I didn’t have a big luggage to fit this in. Again I just took a photo so I remember what it says. If you love something…
I would have bought this Men Only wooden sign if it had a partner, Women Only.
I spent some 5 minutes trying to stop myself from buying this white and blue porcelain coffee pot set. It’s very cheap except that I already have so many breakable items sitting at home and it would be hard to carry and pack this. I went around the mall and came back to this stall for one last look. Nope, wag na lang.
Ang cute nung dog painting. I also thought of getting it pero saan ko naman isasabit.
I am not buying any more porcelain soup tureen and plates. I already have a few. Maybe next year na lang.
I don’t know why this is $2,200, siguro sikat yung artist.
They are just so adorable. They stand about 20″ tall. $100
I really liked this white and gold service set. Next time I go back and it’s still there, I would most likely get this. Pero malabo yan, I don’t plan on going back to this mall any time soon.
I touched this chair and there were some spots na pwede kang matusok. Kung nagtatai ka ng pera bilhin mo $400 plus tax, tapos ihampas mo sa asawa mo pag nainis ka.
I wanted to buy this set but the cashier said it’s $100 for the four cups and saucers,
But it says $25 for the set. I didn’t want to pay a hundred so wag na lang.
