Baking Soda - Oh My Buhay

Baking Soda

My son hates anything minty.  He hates the smell and taste of toothpaste.  We always get into a negative zone when it’s brushing teeth time.   I am trying to go back in time to determine what’s the root cause of his toothpase trauma.   My daughter told me when he was little  he ate Vicks.   I have bought many kinds of toothpaste in the past hoping that I would find that one distinct taste that would be palatable to my son.  Strawberry flavor,  bubble gum,  berries, etc.   I bought the ones with attractive cartoon drawings to attract him but to no avail.

I spoke to my son’s dentist Dra. Beth Cenidoza from Kapitolyo, Pasig, and she advised using baking soda as a good substitute for regular toothpastes. It even whitens the teeth daw.   I bought 3 boxes and hopefully my son will like it.

Baking soda has many practical uses
