The first grand party of the Binangonan Association of Northern California (BANC) was a success in all measures. It was well attended, with kababayans coming all the way from Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey , Chicago and the Philippines.
Food was sufficient and good with some of the members bringing hors d’ oeuvre and pastries. There were some raffle prizes such as a $150 casino money.
Their souvenir program was finished way before the event with many advertisers and sponsors. The production and design was headed by Aileen. The tables were given a nice touch with the addition of fresh flowers, table runners and candles.

Olan spoke of friendship and camaraderie among townmates.
Alice Maaba-Dacanay. Alice graduated from UST. She’s based in San Francisco and works as a nurse. She is also a part-time professor.
