My husband and I watched a movie last night to momentarily keep our minds off from stress.
We didn’t know what movies were showing “dun na lang tayo titingin” according to my husband. There were no other choices, only Batman vs. Superman is showing in all the theaters in Eastwood Mall.
We were there at 6:55 pm, the showing we picked was at 7 pm. He was hungry so we went to eat Beef Pepper Rice.
We went to see a movie to relax but we went to the wrong movie. It was all action and suspense and we were not in the right condition to absorb any more excitement. Edmund saw me with my eyes closed “Tart, natutulog ka?”
At some point, I covered my head with the shawl because the suspense was too much.
It was a good movie for young people with no stress in their lives.
I also didn’t like when Superman gets beaten up and in this movie, he died.
I wish there’s a real Superman on earth. I wish there are a thousand Supermen to save us from danger.
This past week, my superman is my husband. He’s doing his damn best to keep me from worrying too much. Although he’s also equally stressed out, he’s keeping us collected and trying to provide us with much needed strength. He consoles me every time he sees me crying. Both of us have lost 5 pounds in only a span of one week. He told me “kailangan pilitin nating kumain”. Every time I look at food, I try to follow what he told me, that I have to force myself to eat even if I don’t have any appetite.
While walking to the basement parking of Eastwood, we saw a woman with pink hair.
A—-“Uso ngayon iba-ibang kulay ang buhok”.
E—-“Kung may buhok lang ako…… walang makukulayan, wala akong buhok”.
